We are genuinely interested in hearing about your lived experience with the aged care system, but there are some things we cannot do.
What we can’t do:
We do not have the power to:
- investigate or resolve individual complaints
- intervene in individual cases
- take action against specific providers or services.
But there are people who can help. If your message is about:
- the quality or safety of care provided by an aged care service, including a complaint about a provider or worker: visit the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission website or call 1800 951 822.
- access to services, assessments, fees or aged care funding: contact The Department of Health, Disability and Ageing on 1800 020 103.
If you need support or advocacy, contact the Older Persons Advocacy Network by calling 1800 700 600.
