Eligibility
When you find a role that interests you, submit an application demonstrating why you are the best fit for us.
Employment with the OIGAC is subject to conditions prescribed within the Public Service Act 1999. To be eligible for employment:
- you must be an Australian citizen to be offered employment
- you must meet the mandatory requirements listed in the candidate pack – these may include required qualifications and/or clearances.
To work with OIGAC, you will need to complete some pre-engagement checks, including:
- a police records check
- providing certified proof of identity and citizenship.
Writing your application
We recommend you respond to the specific requirements of the role, as outlined in the job application kit.
When you write your application response:
- structure your response, clearly demonstrating your relevant skills, capabilities and experience
- be clear and concise
- only include relevant information and achievements.

Submitting your application
To apply, you will need to provide:
- a completed OIGAC job application cover sheet
- your most recent CV or resumé
- a written response to the role requirements, and any supporting information requested
- details of two (2) referees, ideally including your current supervisor.
Once you have all the required information, you will need to email your application to jobs@igac.gov.au within the allocated timeframe.
